WHAT YOU'LL DO

Collaborate directly with Consulting Partners and Managers, and client finance contacts as needed to ensure effective management of the full revenue cycle Ensure timely and accurate financial system entry, invoicing and collections, and maintain statements of work and other records that support client revenues. Prepare analysis of revenue, pipeline, and staffing and price realization as needed.

  • Review commercial terms in client proposals and contracts to record revenues in financial system and maintain internal database with essential reference information. Set up new case codes and communicate to case manager and others based on established procedures.
  • Coordinate appropriate client invoicing schedule. Prepare timely client invoicing, manage client expense balances, receivable collections and requests for additional detail.
  • Review and track client statements of work, ensuring timely issuance and compliance. 
  • Review staffing system data to ensure alignment with statement of work and invoicing.
  • Support the Revenue Manager in review and analysis of pipeline opportunities, analysis of staffing levels, price realization, revenue forecasts and other revenue cycle trends as needed.
  • Prepare additional deliverables including: Year-end audit and tax schedules, analysis related to client revenues and receivables, price realization analysis, etc.
  • Perform Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance & Accounting preferred), or Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative fields
  • 1-3 years experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional, mature manner.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, aptitude to develop PowerPoint skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player, productive working independently or as part of a group.

U.S. Compensation Information 

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below). 


Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level


  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
