WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll be part of Bain’s Research and Data Services (RDS) team in South America, partnering closely with consulting teams to provide data and tools that support case work, client development, and internal knowledge building. This role reports to the Senior Manager for the Private Equity Practice in the region and supports a wide range of industries.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
 As an RDS Analyst, you’ll serve as a generalist researcher, conducting secondary and desk research to support project teams, proposals, and internal Bain initiatives. You’ll use both traditional and alternative data sources to equip teams with the information needed to drive business impact.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct high-quality secondary/desk research using a wide range of sources to support case teams and proposal development
  • Can-do attitude, an initiative-taking approach, and a strong desire to learn new skills
  • Respond to research requests from consulting teams across different industries through South America
  • Build expertise in specific sectors by reading internal and external publications and attending relevant industry sessions
  • Participate in asset-building initiatives, such as developing proprietary databases, brochures, and other knowledge materials
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing presentations and industry team activities
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure client needs are met with accuracy and efficiency
  • Solicit feedback from internal clients to continuously improve research delivery

ABOUT YOU

  • 1–2 years of experience conducting secondary research
  • Advanced English
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • Highly adaptable with strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Able to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Comfortable working under pressure with a professional and collaborative mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do, initiative-taking attitude
