Moritz Hausmann

Moritz Hausmann is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences and M&A practices.

He has nearly 10 years of experience in strategy, M&A, and transformation across the pharma, biotech, medtech, and pharma services sectors. His work includes corporate and business unit strategy, merger integration, commercial due diligence, and large-scale organizational transformations. He advises both corporate clients and investors across Europe, the United States, and Asia, and brings a strong interest in healthcare innovation—particularly in the areas of AI, digital health, and personalized medicine.

Beyond client work, Moritz is a member of Bain’s DACH Healthcare leadership team and serves on the People Promotion Committee. He is also active in recruiting and mentoring, with a long-standing connection to the University of St. Gallen.

Prior to joining Bain, Moritz worked at a strategy consulting firm with a focus on healthcare, corporate strategy, and private equity across EMEA and APAC. He also gained early experience in banking and corporate strategy through roles in New York, Munich, and China.

He holds a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degree in international business administration and East Asian studies from the University of Tübingen. He lives in Munich with his wife and their young son.
