WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a Senior Specialist on the Global Training team focused on internal business function learning, you’ll be a critical part of the learning and development ecosystem at Bain & Company. Alongside this team, you’ll help design, develop, and evaluate learning opportunities and content for Bain’s team members in business function roles, throughout their Bain career.
The Senior Specialist will also coordinate and collaborate with multiple functions across Bain and team members working on similar learning initiatives for Bain’s other two main employee populations (i.e., general consulting, and expert client delivery).
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
The Senior Specialist will support team members in the end-to-end development of learning experiences and contribute to the longer-term evolution of business function learning at Bain. This includes onboarding, continuous learning, and leadership development, delivered across all channels.
Working with the Director, Global Professional Development, you will own workstream(s) which may include content development, program administration and logistics, audience communication, and measurement. You will also lead the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of live and self-paced learning offerings – along with the tools, resources, and processes that support them – to ensure programs remain current, effective, and aligned with business needs.
Under supervision, the Senior Specialist will run the day-to-day delivery of learning initiatives end-to-end, including handling audience targeting, logistics, learner and stakeholder communications, resource hubs (e.g., SharePoint), inbox management, and data collection-to-reporting that drive insight and action.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Learning content development
- Contribute to the design and development of engaging, high-quality learning content across multiple topics and career stages – ensuring alignment with adult learning principles
- Support the execution of learning experiences across virtual, in-person, and self-directed formats; adapt approach to fit audience needs and delivery channels
Content management and curation
- Work with digital learning and platform teams to enhance user experience, support adoption, and improve integration of digital offerings into broader development journeys
- Help maintain a structured library of internal and external learning resources; identify and recommend updates based on learner feedback and evolving priorities
Evaluation and feedback
- Analyze learner feedback and outcomes to identify strengths, surface gaps, and support updates or refinements to content and delivery methods
Team collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Engage regularly with colleagues across the learning team to share insights, align efforts, and contribute to cross-population learning strategies
- Own key training initiatives or workstreams – building alignment with stakeholders, driving timelines, and ensuring smooth execution from design through delivery

ABOUT YOU
- You are a collaborative, proactive learning professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is ready to make an impact. Specifically:
- Skilled in designing, developing, implementing, and measuring effective learning assets and broader programs, with guidance from a supervisor
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences
- A self-starter with sharp attention to detail and strong skills in organization, project management, and problem-solving – able to lead yourself, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines in a client-focused setting
- Comfortable working independently and as part of global, virtual teams, with frequent collaboration via email and video
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint; experience with learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP) and/or content development software preferred
- 4-6 years professional experience, preferably in a professional services firm and/or learning and development team
- BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service, and Bain’s best-in-class benefits package (details listed below).
The good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $70,500 – $84,500. Placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level.
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation.
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
